A selection of portraits from the ongoing series goes on show at the Phillips Collection in Washington DC through September 2026, in partnership with TASSC International.

The exhibition brings together work made in Ethiopia, Sudan, Rwanda and the Republic of Congo, with each portrait shown alongside the participant’s own story and an explanation of the photograph they chose to have projected over themselves.

The show forms part of a wider programme with TASSC International, whose survivor-led advocacy underpins the campaign to end the practice of torture.
